No Health Risks from CBD According to WHO

Patients are not at risk or see any adverse health effects from cannabidiol, a.k.a. CBD. In fact, quite the opposite is the case: CBD has been found to have several medical applications

A WHO report published last month found dead consuming CBD is safe and well tolerated by humans and animals. The report didn’t find any negative effects.

What is CBD?

CBD is one of the cannabinoids found in cannabis. Together with THC, which is the other main component in cannabis, CBD has no psychoactive effects and there is no potential for abuse.

Unlike the psychoactive THC in cannabis, people cannot get high of CBD either according to the study.
